czUAZ Hunter for geologists
UAZ Hunter AMC represents one of the last really durable off-road vehicles. The task was to prepare this vehicle according to the order made by a geological company. The diesel version was a clear choice due to its design and torque securing maximal power from the lowest revs. We started with chassis and body cavities anti-corrosion coat of paint. Extreme off-road capabilities are secured by air-operated rear locking differential and off-road tyres on UAZ original 16-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle body is protected by alternative front bumper with main headlights protection, doorsill frames and bar frames for protecting steering rods. A tow hitch is designed for 2 500 kg. Frequent wading required an installation of raised air intake and ventilated axles.
